Drum Tuition
With over fifteen years teaching experience, I offer bespoke drum tuition, tailored to fit the needs and ability of each student. I welcome students of all ages and abilities from beginners to professional level drummers.

I am passionate about encouraging students to discover and express their own personality, style and creativity in their playing as well as developing technical ability. I am always keen to find out about students musical interests and tastes so lessons can be tailored around each individuals goals and aspirations.
Whether you want to learn to read music, work towards grade exams, learn your favourite songs, develop technique or just let off steam and play, I aim to offer a supportive, friendly and fun experience of playing and learning drums.

My background as a session drummer means I am also able to help students develop live performance and recording skills, improvisation and musical styles as well as offering advice on equipment purchase and maintenance, audition prep and working in the music industry.
I also specialise in teaching students with additional needs. My training as a music therapist has enabled me to incorporate a therapeutic approach to my teaching. I recognise the benefits that drumming can have in reducing anxiety, emotional regulation and promoting mental, emotional and physical well-being. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate for work with children and adults.

60 minute one-to-one drum lesson - £35

30 minute one-to-one drum lesson - £17.50
